We’re really excited to have Kevin Smith of God Save the Queen guest DJ with us in October. See you on the dance floor!

parklife – September 16th, 2011

We’re excited for parklife this Friday! Sadly my fellow resident DJ Misa won’t be able to join us but I promise that Sir Eric Colin and I will keep the dance floor shakin’ and make Misa proud.

A bit about guest DJ Sir Eric Colin:
Sir Eric Colin – Drummer, mystic, part time cult leader, DJ extraordinaire and a veritable messianic figure about town.
When not holding down the drummers seat with Liam Hayes & Plush, he is organizing Mod, Garage, Freakbeat, Psych & Library nights at various clubs around town; not to mention his annual MODchicago weekender in June in which 60’s enthusiasts from all over the globe flock to attend.
Specializing in the obscure and well known for his all foreign language sets, you can expect nothing less than a delicious smorgasbord of hot platters made to order.
His all (original) vinyl sets are custom made for maximum dance floor action and has been known to cause slipped discs, seizures and temporary heart failure.
He is currently wanted in four states after a rash of unexplained strokes occurred immediately following his set.
Find out more about him and his events at MODchicago.

Our first poster

This is the poster of our first parklife that started  it all. No guest DJ’s, just us and some friends who brought the dance party.
